Samsung today announced the launch of Galaxy On5 and On7 in India at Rs 8,990 and Rs 10,990 respectively. The smartphones will be available exclusively from Flipkart. These will go on sale from midnight of November 4 and will be available in gold and black colours.
The Samsung Galaxy On5 has a 5 inch HD touchscreen, 1.3 GHz quad core Exynos 3475 processor, Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, 1.5 GB RAM, 8 GB internal memory and a 128 GB micro SD card slot.
This dual SIM phone has an 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture, 5 megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2600 mAh battery. It offers Bluetooth 4.1, GPS with GLONASS and Beidou, WiFi (b/g/n) and WiFi Direct. It measures 142.3×72.1×8.5 mm and weighs 149 grams.
The Samsung Galaxy On7 has a bigger 5.5 inch display but with the same high definition resolution. It has the 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, 1.5 GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt memory, 5 megapixel front camera and the 128 GB microSD card slot. However, it has bigger 3000 mAh battery and a 13 megapixel rear camera.
Besides, the On7 has dual SIM, Bluetooth 4.1, Micro USB 2.0 port, WiFi (b/g/n), WiFi Direct, and GPS with GLONASS and Beidou for navigation. Note that this dual SIM smartphone offers 4G connectivity too. It measures 151.8×77.5×8.2 mm and weighs 171 grams.
