Korean mobile phone giant, Samsung has announced the launch of a new mobile phone under its Champ series in India. Named as the Champ Neo Duos, the phone is priced at Rs 3,599.
It comes with an all-white chassis that gives it a charming look while adding a touch of class. The Champ Neo Duos comes with a dual SIM GSM+GSM connectivity with true hot swap capability which means that the device would not require a restart in case the exciting SIM card is changed with another SIM card while the phone is operational.
The Champ Neo Duos comes with a 2.4 inch TFT LCD colour display with a Resolution of 240 x 320 pixels but it is a resistive touchscreen. Samsung though is providing a stylus with the device for easier navigation across the system. The device also has a brand new user interface that makes it easy to navigate. Besides, the device also comes preloaded with multiple applications such as MSN, Google Talk, Yahoo, Facebook, twitter and Samsung’s very own cross platform chat client – ChatON.
For multimedia, the Samsung Champ Neo Duos comes with an integrated multi format audio-video player that supports many popular media formats. Along with that the Champ Neo also gets a set of stereo speakers for some high sound experience for its users.
It has only 20 MB of internal storage but it can be expanded to another 32GB with the help of a micro SD card.
At the back there is a VGA resolution camera which is capable of taking images and videos as well. But the vi8deos can only be recorded in a 3Gp or low resolution MP4 format at a tiny 15 frames per second resolution.
The device is available across all Samsung sellers across the country at a price of Rs 3,599.
