Samsung Galaxy TabPro S with Windows 10 OS unveiled at CES 2016

The Galaxy TabPro S will be available globally, starting from February 2016.

Samsung has unveiled its new 2 in 1 Windows 10 tablet, Galaxy TabPro S, at the ongoing Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2016 in Las Vegas, USA. This 2 in 1 tablet comes with a detachable keyboard to deliver full PC functionality. The Galaxy TabPro S will be available globally in WiFi and variants, starting next month but there is no information about its price as of now.

The Samsung Galaxy TabPro S features a 12-inch Super that has Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixel) resolution. It is powered by a 6th generation, 2.2 GHz dual-core Intel Core M processor and 4GB RAM. The device runs on Windows 10 operating system (Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Pro for business).

The tablet comes in 128GB and 256GB internal storage variants and offers a 5200 mAh battery. It has feature that claims to charge the battery to full capacity in just 2.5 hours and claims to offers up-to 10.5 hours of battery life. The Galaxy TabPro S sports a 5-megapixel rear and front camera.

On the connectivity front, the Galaxy TabPro S offers WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), MIMO, WiFi Direct, NFC, 4.1 and GPS/GLONASS. The device measures 290.3×198.8×6.3mm; the WiFi model weighs 693 grams while the LTE variant weighs 696 grams. The tablet has Accelerometer, Hall, and Light sensors.

To enhance productivity, a multi-port adapter (HDMI, Type A & C) and Bluetooth Pen are available for purchase separately.
