Samsung has today announced the launch of two new tablets in India with the Galaxy Tab S5e and Galaxy Tab A 10.1. The Galaxy Tab S5e is priced at Rs 35,999 for the WiFi variant, while the WiFi + LTE version comes with a price tag of Rs 39,999. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 is priced at Rs 14,999 for WiFi and Rs 19,999 for WiFi + LTE variant.
The Galaxy Tab S5e will be available on Amazon (WiFi only) and Flipkart (WiFi + LTE only) along with Samsung Mobile shop and key retail stores. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 will be available on all the platforms. Both the models will be available for purchase starting from June 26 and both of them will be available in Black, Gold and Silver colour options. The company has also introduced a launch offer with Galaxy Tab S5e under which it is offering Samsung Pogo keyboard for Rs 3,500, against its original price of Rs 7,999.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e
Starting with the Galaxy Tab S5e, the new tablet comes with a metallic design and it is one of the slimmest tablets from Samsung. The device comes with built-in Samsung DeX support. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e features a 10.5-inch WQXGA sMOLED display with a screen Resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, 288 ppi Pixel density and 16:10 aspect ratio. The tablet is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The memory can be further expanded up to 512GB via microSD card slot.
On the camera front, the tablet is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 Aperture and for the front, there is an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling. The Galaxy Tab S5e runs on Android 9.0 Pie with company’s own OneUI running on top of it. The tablet is equipped with quad spakers, which are tuned with AKG and support Dolby Atmos. The device supports face unlock feature and it is backed by a 7040mAh battery with 18W Fast charging support.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1
Coming to Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1, it is equipped with a 10.1-inch LCD display with 224ppie pixel density and 400nits brightness. The tablet is powered by a Exynos 7904 processor along with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 512GB via microSD card slot.
The tablet is backed by a 6,150mAh battery and it comes with three speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The device runs on Android 9.0 Pie with OneUI running on top of it and it is loaded with a new Kid Mode that allows parents to set controls on applications, screen time and more. On the camera front, it is loaded with an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
