Samsung is working on the successor of Galaxy Tab S3 which will be known as Samsung Galaxy Tab S4. The Galaxy Tab S4 has been now spotted on a GeekBench Benchmarking website. The listing has shown some of the expected specifications of the upcoming tablet.
In the GeekBench listing, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 with the model name ‘samsung SM-T835’ got 1895 points in single-core test and in multi-core test it received 6362 points. As per the listing on Geekbench, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 has 4GB RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 1.90 GHz octa-core processor. The handset is based on the Android 8.1.0 Oreo operating system.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 launch seems to be nearby as it recently received WiFi certification from the WiFi Alliance (WFA) with model number SM-T835. The Galaxy S4 tablet has also received certification for Bluetooth connection.
The tablet will be the successor of Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 launched in India in June last year at Rs 47,990. Earlier, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 was found on GFXBencmarkingwebsite. As per the listing on GFXBench, Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 has a 10.5-inch display with 2560×1600 pixels resolution and 5 finger gesture support. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 2.3GHz octa-core Processor with Adreno 540 GPU. The tablet has 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The Galaxy Tab S4 runs on Android 8.0.0 Oreo operating system. In the listing, there is no information about its battery or expandable memory. It’s also worth noting that the Galaxy Tab S4 will include a SIM card slot, which will allow users to take and make calls.
Further, the Samsung tablet is listed with 12-megapixel Autofocus camera and a LED flash in its rear panel. There is an 8-megapixel camera in its front for selfies. The GFX listing shows that the device has connectivity features like Bluetooth, GPS and WiFi. As per the listing, the device has an accelerometer, barometer, gyroscope, light sensor and Proximity Sensor as well.
