Samsung has launched two new tablets, Galaxy Tab A7.0 and Galaxy Tab E Lite, in Canada. Samsung Galaxy Tab A7.0 was earlier spotted) online on a Poland website last month. The Samsung Galaxy Tab E Lite is priced at $149.99 (approximately Rs 9,942) while the 7-inch Galaxy Tab A has a price tag of $199.99 (approximately Rs 13,257).
Samsung Galaxy Tab A7.0 has a 7-inch HD (1280×800 pixels) IPS display. It comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core processor. There is 1.5 GB of RAM in the tablet with 8 GB of internal storage. The tablet also has an expandable storage slot that can carry a micro SD card of up to 200 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7.0 has a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera. For connectivity, it offers WiFi, GPS, micro USB and Bluetooth. The tablet, which measures 186.9 x 108.8 x 8.7mm and weighs 283 grams, has a 4000 mAh battery.
On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy Tab E Lite features a 7-inch TFT (1024×600 pixel) display and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core processor along with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and 32GB expandable memory. The tablet however runs on an older Android KitKat operating system and is backed by a 3600 mAh battery. The Galaxy Tab E 7.0 has a 2-megapixel rear camera with VGA Resolution but has no front camera. The tablet measures 197.9 x 122.4 x 45.9 mm and weighs around 310 grams.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab E Lite comes in white colour while Galaxy Tab A 7.0 comes in both black and white color options. Currently, there is no information about launch of these tablets in India.
