Putting all rumours to rest, Samsung today officially showcased its latest tablet on its Facebook page.
Samsung has unveiled the new dual core 10.1 inch galaxy tab during the recent Mobile World Congress triggering speculations that it is working on a new 8.9inch tablet.
As opposed to the 7 inch and 10.1 inch tablets respectively, the new one is expected to have an out of the regular 8.9 inch display. It might just bridge the gap for those who want a smaller (as compared to a 10 inch) but not too smaller (7 inch) tablet computer. Although Samsung’s philosophy behind choosing this size is not clear.
In terms of hardware, the tablet is supposed to have a dual core Tegra or a similar Processor WiFi- n standard along with a rear and a front cameras.
Since it will make its debut after the launch of iPad 2, the device is supposed to have a slimmer or at least a similar profile.
As Samsung remains tight lipped, picture will be clearer on March 22nd when the tablet will hit the markets.
