Samsung has finally announced the launch of this year’s flagship device, the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018. The brand has revealed the pricing for various markets and it has started talking pre-booking of the latest smartphones in India.
To start with the pre-booking first, Samsung has started pre-booking on its official website. Interested customers will have to pay Rs 2,000 as a pre-booking amount for the latest flagship devices. Users need to click on ‘Buy Now’option on the website and then enter all the details like Name, mobile number, email ID, model and colour of the device.
Once the pre-booking is done, users will receive a notification via SMS/ email confirming the registration. Samsung will then send another SMS and email to the users when the smartphones will be available for purchase on the launch date. Users will get pre-booking coupon, which can be used at the time of checkout to adjust the booking amount from the final payable amount. Interestingly, Samsung is yet to announce the final price and launch date of the latest smartphone. However, Flipkart has already confirmed that the latest smartphones will be exclusively available on its e-commerce portal.
Meanwhile, Samsung has also revealed the pricing and pre-booking details for the US, the UK and European markets. To start with the US, the unlocked variant of the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ comes with a price tag of $719.99 and $839.99. The pre-orders will begin from March 2, 2018, and it will be available from AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, US Cellular, Verizon Wireless, Amazon, Best Buy, Target and Walmart among others.
In the UK, the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will be available for £739 and £869 respectively. The pre-order begin from February 25, 2018, and customers who pre-order before March 07, 2018, 23:59 GMT will receive their devices 7 days early on March 09, 2018.
Coming to the European market, the Galaxy S9 will be available for EUR 849 in Germany, Netherlands and France, while in Italy it will be available for EUR 899. The Galaxy S9+ will be available for EUR 949 in Germany, Netherlands and France, while in Italy, it will come with a price tag of EUR 999.
