There were multiple rumours that suggested a dual-camera setup at the back of the latest Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ flagship devices, before the official unveiling. However, it seems that the Korean giant has not given up on this idea and it might introduce a special variant of the Galaxy S8 with dual rear cameras.
According to a leaked image on Weibo, the smartphone shown boasting dual rear camera lenses similar to what is expected on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Further, the leaked image also shows a lack of fingerprint scanner at the back, which could also mean that the brand has finally found a way to integrate fingerprint sensor underneath the display.
Previously, multiple reports suggested that Samsung has not able to find a way to integrate the fingerprint scanner under the display, as it causing some brightness imbalance of the display. Further, the place where the scanner is placed is brighter as compared to the rest of the display, which is the main why Samsung didn’t introduce the in-screen fingerprint scanner for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+.
However, there is no way to confirm the legitimacy of this photo, so we suggest you take this report with a grain of salt.
