There is no doubt that the Samsung’s latest flagship devices are breaking all sort of records, but it seems that both the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ have a fair of problems as well. After red tint and patchy Wi-Fi issues, some users are now reporting that their smartphones are randomly restarting.
Many users have revealed this problem on company’s US US community page as well as the XDA forums. Some users have pointed the out that their devices are witnessing restarts at regular intervals of time.
Some users have suggested that microSD card might be causing this problem and have suggested a temporary fix by removing the memory card. Others believe that the problem might be caused due to a bug in the lock or Always-On Display screen and possibly the power save feature as well.
However, there is no clarity on the root cause of the issue, but it seems to be persistent given the number of complaints being put up on the company’s community post. Hopefully, Samsung would look into this matter and roll out an update to fix this issue.
Meanwhile, the company has started rolling out the update to fix the red tint issue on some Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. Previously, Samsung had also issued an ‘urgent update software’ to fix a Wi-Fi related problem on its recently-launched Galaxy S8. The update came after some users reported that were experiencing some problem with DQA (Device Quality Agent).
