If the latest rounds of rumours are believed to be true then Samsung will put this year’s flagship devices, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, for pre-orders on April 10.
According to a report by The Investor, citing some industry sources, claims that the devices will be available for purchase on April 21.
To recall, Samsung will be holding an Unpacked 2017 which will take place at 11:00 a.m. EDT in New York on March 29, 2017, where it will launch the upcoming devices. Now if this rumour is to be believed then the brand will showcase the device on March 29, while both the devices might be made available from April 21.
Interestingly, Samsung is also rumoured to be producing 10 million units of Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, which shows that the company is expected to a see a high sales for both the devices.
Refreshing some key specs, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will come with a 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED Display respectively. Other than this, you get a 4GB of RAM, 64GB internal storage which is expandable, 12-megapixel rear camera with dual pixel technology, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, Samsung Pay, wireless charging, and earphones tuned by AKG.
However, the specs sheet does not reveal the processor and battery backup of the smartphone, but it is reported that it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and there will be a variant which might come with company’s latest Exynos 8895 chipset. As for the battery is concerned, the Galaxy S8 will be juiced up by a 3000mAh battery, while Galaxy S8+ will be backed by a 3500 mAh battery.
