Samsung has reportedly reduced the price of Samsung Galaxy S8+ 6GB smartphone, as per a Mumbai-based mobile phone retailer, Mahesh Telecom. The retailer today tweeted that, Samsung has reduced the price of Samsung Galaxy S8+ 6GB RAM by Rs 4,000 and now will be available at Rs 70,990. The Samsung Galaxy S8+ 6GB RAM was launched in June this year in India at Rs 74,990.
The tweet reads “#PriceDrop : Galaxy S8+(128GB) – New MOP Rs70,900/- Effective 7July 2017”. However, there is no official confirmation from Samsung regarding the same.
As far as specifications are concerned, it features a 6.2-inch Quad-HD Infinity display with a screen Resolution of 2960 x 1440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The device is powered by the latest Exynos 8895 Chipset which is an Octa-Core Processor clocked at 2.3 GHz coupled with6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
On the camera front, the Galaxy S8 S8+ is equipped with a 12-megapixel rear camera with Dual Pixel technology and Aperture f/1.7 and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with smart Autofocus and aperture f/1.7.MP F1.7 Smart autofocus front camera.
It runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat and is juiced up by a 3500mAh battery with fast charging on wired and wireless. On the connectivity front, the smartphone supports Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, USB Type-C, GPS, GLONASS and 4G LTE. The Samsung Galaxy S8+ measures 159.5 x 73.4 x 8.1 mm and 173g.
