A new Samsung smartphone, called Galaxy S5 mini, has been spotted by SamMobiles.
As per the website, which has posted purpoted images and details of the phone, the device carries model number SM-G800F that hint at the design replication of the Galaxy S5. The Galaxy S5 mini features a 4.5-inch HD Super AMOLED touchscreen display with 1280×720 native resolution. This smartphone is powered by an unannounced quad-core 1.4 GHz Exynos 3 Quad 3470 mobile chipset coupling the quad-core Mali-400 MP4 GPU for best graphics output.
Samsung has placed 1.5 GB RAM inside this device to make the mobile chipset work harmoniously for powering the TouchWiz UI on top of Android 4.4.2 KitKat. By default, the Galaxy S5 mini offers 16 GB on-board storage with memory card slot.
At the rear, it features an 8 Megapixel camera with LED flash below it. Next to the LED flash appears to be a heart rate sensor, however there is no confirmation on that, as yet. Perforated back cover also has a small outlet for the speaker.
The existence of Fingerprint recognition sensor is clearly visible in the leaked images. Based on the images, we can estimate that the smartphone is ready for announcement any time in coming few weeks.
