Samsung Galaxy S10 to launch at the Unpacked event on February 20

The launch date for the S10 series is a few days before Mobile World Congress 2019 which is scheduled to be held in Barcelona in February end.

Samsung is all set to launch its flagship Galaxy S10 series at an event in San Francisco on February 20 as the company has sent out invites for its Galaxy Unpacked event. Additionally, the date has been announced on the company’s social media handles as well. The event will start at 11:00 AM PT (12:30 AM IST) at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium.

The tweet shared by the official handles of Samsung reads “Welcome to the next generation. Galaxy Unpacked on February 20, 2019”. The tweet also carries number 10 which confirms the launch of Galaxy S10 series of phones including Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 Plus and Galaxy S10 E.

The launch date for the S10 series is a few days before Mobile World Congress 2019 which is scheduled to be held in Barcelona in February end. The launch event will also be live-streamed on Samsung’s official website.

At the event, Samsung is also likely to launch the Galaxy S10 version. Moreover, a new Galaxy Watch and its foldable smartphone are also expected to be announced at the event. Samsung though has not revealed anything regarding the Galaxy Foldable phone as of now.

As per earlier reports, the Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus will feature in-display fingerprint scanners while Samsung Galaxy S10 E won’t come with an in-display fingerprint scanner and might feature a side-mounted scanner. The Galaxy S10 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 for the US market or the Exynos 9820 processor for markets like India.
