The Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro 2017 which was earlier spotted on GFXBench benchmarking and GeekBench benchmarking websites has now received WiFi certification from the WiFi Alliance (WFA). The previous listings already revealed some major specifications of the smartphone bearing the model number SM-G615F.
As per the Wi-Fi certification, the Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro 2017 will support Dual-Band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n (2.4GHz,5GHz) and Wi-Fi Direct connectivity features. Sadly, the listing does not show any specifications except that the device will be powered by Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. The listing also reveals that the smartphone boasts the model number as SM-G615F with the certification ID WFA70814 and the date of certification being 30th March 2017. The leaked smartphone is widely expected to be next Galaxy On7 Pro series smartphone as the Galaxy On7 Pro came with model number SM-G600F.
For the specs based on previous listings, the Samsung Galaxy SM-G615F has a 5.7-inch full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution and it will be powered by MediaTek Helio P20 MT6757 2.3 GHz octa-core processor. It has 3GB RAM with 32GB of internal storage out of which 24GB will be reserved for the users. Besides, it has Mali-T880 GPU and Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. Samsung Galaxy SM-G615F has a 13-megapixel Autofocus camera and a LED flash on its rear panel and a same 13-megapixel camera in its front as well.
The 2016 Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro was launched in India last year. The Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro has a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and a 1.2 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor. Besides, the On7 Pro has Adreno 306, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal memory, and a 128GB micro SD card slot. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and has a 3000 mAh battery. The Galaxy On7 Pro sports a decent 13-megapixel snapper with LED flash, the f/2.2 Aperture on the back and a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
The new Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro specifications have been improved in almost every area and it will roll out with Android 7.0 Nougat instead of Marshmallow in the previous version. While the new version has same rear camera resolution of 13 megapixels but its front-facing camera has a larger 13-megapixel camera as compared to 5 megapixels in the previous version. At the moment the battery capacity is something which has not been spilt out but we expect it to be also larger than the previous one. The Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro had a 3,000mAh battery.
