Samsung, which is reported to be working on the Galaxy Note III, is now said to be working on an upgraded version of the older Galaxy Note II as well.
As per information that has been made available through Antutu benchmarking results, Samsung has been found out to have been working on the upgraded version of the Galaxy Note II Android smartphone.
The new Note II N7108D is found out to be running on Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 600 Chipset as opposed to the quad core Exynos 4412 of the original Note II. The new Snapdragon 600 chipset has been clocked at 1.9 GHz. As compared to benchmarking results the older Galaxy Note II N7100 managed 13562 score, while the newer Galaxy Note II N 7108D scored 26901.
Samsung has not yet commented on the report and it is likely to announce something in this regard before the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note III on or around September 4 this year.
