Samsung has officially slashed the price of its last year’s flagship device, the Galaxy Note 8, in India. The latest price cut is valid on company’s official website and Amazon India.
After the price cut, the Galaxy Note 8 is now available for Rs 55,900 on both the platforms. To recall, the phone was launched in India for Rs 67,900. This reflects a price cut of Rs 12,000. Further, Samsung is offering some offers on its official website.
To start with, HDFC Credit Card holders will get Rs 4,000 cashback on the purchase of the phablet. Additionally, the company is offering Rs 4,000 additional exchange value on the smartphone. Amazon is offering no-cost EMI option on the purchase of the Galaxy Note 8.
To recall, the phone was introduced in India last year. The phone is available in Midnight Black, Maple Gold and Orchid Grey colour options. Jumping straight to the specifications, the Galaxy Note 8 features a 6.3-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display with a screen Resolution of 2960 x 1440 pixels.

The phone is powered by Exynos 8895 Chipset and it is backed by a 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The memory can be further expanded up to 512GB via micro SD card slot. Interestingly, this is the first Samsung smartphone that comes loaded with a dual-camera setup.
The dual rear cameras comprise two 12-megapixel sensors. The primary sensor comes with a Wide-Angle lens, while secondary is equipped with a telephoto lens. For the front, there is an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling. The phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo and it is backed by a 3300mAh battery. On the connectivity front, you get 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, VHT80 MU-MIMO, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C, NFC, MST and hybrid dual-SIM.
