Samsung Galaxy Note 8 confirmed to launch on August 23: Here’s everything you need to know

Samsung has finally confirmed that it will launch the much-rumoured Galaxy Note 8 smartphone during an Unpacked event, which is scheduled to take place on August 23. The company has started sending our invites for the same and it has also shared the invite on its official Twitter account.
The tweet contains an image of a smartphone with Infinity Display, something similar we have at the time of Samsung Galaxy S8. Interestingly, there is also a along with the phone and the invite says “Do bigger things”, which all but confirms that the company will be launching the Galaxy Note 8 on the said date. The tweet further mentions, “Find out what it means to do bigger things on 08.23.2017.”
What is the expected price tag?
According to a previous leak, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 could be brand’s most expensive smartphone ever. Multiple reports suggest that the smartphone could be priced at $1000 in the home country i.e. South Korea, which roughly translates to Rs 64,695. In other markets like the US and Europe, the Galaxy Note 8 will be priced at $1,100 (approx. Rs 71,165).
What are the expected specifications?
To start with, the smartphone is reported to come with a 6.3-inch Quad Super and it will maintain a similar aspect ratio of 18:5:9 as we have seen in the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. The smartphone will come loaded with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and there will be a separate variant with company’s in-house Exynos 8895 as well.

Further, the phone will come loaded with a 6GB of and some reports also mention that there will be a variant with an 8GB of RAM. On the storage front, the smartphone is rumoured to come in 64GB and 128GB of internal storage, which could be expandable in nature. It is reported to come in Black, Blue and Gold colour variants.
On the camera front, the phone will boast a dual-camera setup at the rear panel which will feature two 12-megapixel dual sensor coupled with optical image stabilisation. The phablet will be juiced up by a 3300mAh battery and it will come with an enhanced S Pen and will also support DeX.
