Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was recently unveiled with 4 GB RAM. But now a 6 GB RAM version of Galaxy Note 7 has reportedly been spotted on TENAA, a Chinese Benchmarking website.
The TENAA listing revealed that the Chinese edition of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has model No SM-N9300 and it has 128 GB of built-in storage.
Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note 7 smartphone with 4G RAM on August 2 at the Samsung Unpacked 2016 event which was held simultaneously in New York, London, and Rio de Janeiro. The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has been made available for pre-order in some countries and it will be available for sale starting on August 19. However, Samsung has not announced the price of Galaxy Note 7 at the event.
In India, the Note 7 has been listed on Samsung India’s website but there is no facility to pre-order it nor there is any information about its price but some reports claim that the phone would cost about Rs 63,000.
As far as tech specifications are concerned, Galaxy Note 7 comes with a metal body and a 5.7-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) Super AMOLED Display with curved edges on both right and left hand side. The display has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection as well. It is powered with Octa-Core Exynos 8890 (quad 2.3GHz + quad 1.6GHz) processor in all markets except USA where it will be available with Quad Core Snapdragon 820 processor. However, both versions have 4GB RAM. The smartphone comes preinstalled with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system with the latest TouchWiz UI on top and a 3500 mAh battery with Fast charging technology on both wired and wireless charging modes. It has a USB Type C port.
The Galaxy Note 7 has 64 GB of internal storage and you can use a micro SD card of up to 256 GB in its expandable storage slot. Note that it has a hybrid dual SIM slot which means if you use a micro SD card, you have to forgo the SIM2.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 of-course has S Pen stylus, a fingerprint sensor and an Iris scanner as well. Besides, the phablet offers Samsung’s Knox security app. Apart from this, the device also features barometer, gyro, geomagnetic, proximity, and ambient light sensors.
The smartphone boasts a 12-megapixel Autofocus rear camera that comes with dual pixel technology, LED flash, PDAF, optical image stabilisation, and f/1.7 aperture. A 5-megapixel front facing camera with f/1.7 Aperture is there in the Note 7 for selfies and video calling. On the connectivity front, the device offers 4G, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), GPS with AGS/GLONASS, NFC and USB type C. The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 measures 153.5 x 73.9 x 7.9mm and it weighs 169 grams.
