Samsung Galaxy M-series to launch in India on January 28

The Galaxy M series will be sold exclusively via Amazon India and Samsung’s Online Shop as well.

Samsung Galaxy M-Series smartphones have now been confirmed to launch in India on January 28. The series will include phones like Galaxy M10, M20 and M30 which have already been subjected to a lot of leaks and rumours in the past.

The Galaxy M series will be sold exclusively via Amazon India and Samsung’s Online Shop as well. The company claims the phones will deliver “power-packed” performance and will focus on young millennials.

In an interview with Samsung India’s VP mobile division, Asim Warsi to Reuters, it has been revealed that Galaxy M phones will be launched in India by the end of this month before they are released in global markets. He added that the upcoming Galaxy M phones will be priced between Rs 10,000 and Rs 20,000 and they will come with huge batteries supporting rapid charging.

Asim Warsi did not reveal the names of the Galaxy M phones that will be launched in India later this month. As per reports, Samsung will first be launching the Galaxy M10 and M20 phones first and Galaxy M30 will be announced later.

As for the rumoured specifications, the Galaxy M10 will feature a 6.5-inch display, Exynos 7870 SoC, coupled with 3GB of RAM with 16GB/32GB of internal storage, 8.1 Oreo and 3,400mAh lithium-ion battery.

On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy M20 is said to be featuring 6.13 inches display and it will be powered by Exynos 7885 chipset. The phone will have dual cameras on the back with a 13MP primary sensor and 5MP depth sensor. It will feature an 8MP front-facing camera. There will be 3GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of internal storage in the phone. It will run on an older Android 8.1 Oreo operating system and will be powered by 5000mAh battery.
