Sometime back there was news about a 2018 version of Samsung Galaxy J8. Now a phone with the same name has been listed on Geekbench – a mobile phone Benchmarking website.
As per the listing, the J8 has Exynos 7870 processor. Additionally, it packs 3 GB RAM and runs on Android Oreo operating system. It is likely to have Mali T830. The Samsung Galaxy J8 (2018) would have a 16-megapixel rear camera with full HD recording option. As per current listing, the J8 has model No SM-J800FN.
Earlier it was listed with SM-J20F. As per it, the phone will be powered by an octa-core Exynos 7885 Processor along with 4GB of RAM. It was listed in GFXBench too with a 5.5-inch HD display with a screen Resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. GFXBench listing also said that the smartphone will be powered by an octa-core Samsung Exynos 7885 processor along with Mali-G71 GPU. The listing reveals the phone is backed by a 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
As per earlier information, the phone will have a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, face detection and LED flash. It is expected with an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling. The phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo. Apart from this, the phone is likely to come with an accelerometer, Bluetooth, compass, GPS, proximity, single SIM slot and WiFi.
Recently, Samsung J7 and J4 were spotted on benchmarking websites too.
