Samsung Galaxy J5 Pro launched with 3GB RAM and Android Nougat

The smartphone offers a fingerprint scanner, which is integrated into the home button on its front.

Samsung had launched Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) along with Galaxy J3 and Galaxy J7 (2017) last month in Europe. Now the company has launched a slightly upgraded version of Galaxy J5 2017 with a better RAM and storage in Thailand. The phone is priced at THB 9,990 in the country which is approximately Rs 19,027. Currently, there is no information about its availability in other global markets.

As far as specifications are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy J5 Pro has a 5.2-inch Super that comes with 1280×720 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.6 GHz Octa-core Exynos 7870 processor with Mali T830 MP2 GPU, which is paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. An expandable storage slot is there for a micro SD card of up-to 256 GB capacity. The smartphone runs on 7.0 Nougat operating system and also offers a fingerprint scanner, which is integrated into the home button on its front. The Samsung Galaxy J5 Pro has a 3000 battery.

The Galaxy J5 Pro has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/1.7 and a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash, f/1.9 aperture in the front as well. It has connectivity features like dual sim slot, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 4.1, GPS. The Galaxy J5 (2017) measures 146.3 x 71.3 x 7.9mm.
