Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) gets a price cut, now available at Rs 11,990

Flipkart's exchange offer is also applicable for the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) which was launched in India earlier this year for Rs 13,990, has now got a price cut of Rs 2,000. The smartphone is now retailing at Rs 11,990 and is available for purchase through Flipkart. To add to this, on availing Flipkart’s exchange offer, one can trade his/her old device for the Samsung the Galaxy J5 (2016) and get an additional discount of up to Rs 11,000. Flipkart is also offering an extra 5 percent discount on Axis Bank Buzz Credit Cards. The above mentioned offers are available on all the variants i.e. White, Gold and Black colours.

To brief out the specifications, Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) has a 5.2-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core 64 bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, along with Adreno 305 and 2 RAM. The J5 (2016) offers 16GB of internal storage, with option to expand up-to 64GB via micro SD card. The phone runs on 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is backed by a 3100 mAh battery, which claims to offer 21 hours on talktime on network.

For the camera, the smartphone has a 13-megapixel camera and an flash at the back while a 5-megapixel camera on the front. The camera features include CMOS, f/1.9, Auto Focus, Beauty Face, Continuous Shot, Interval Shot, Panorama, Sports Mode, Sound and Shot Mode, and Zoom support.
