After Galaxy J4 and Galaxy J6 smartphones, Samsung is now getting ready to launch the Galaxy J4 Prime and Galaxy J6 Prime in the coming days.Samsung Galaxy J4 comes in 2 GB RAM + 16 GB storage and 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage variants priced at Rs 9,990 and Rs 11,990 respectively.Samsung Galaxy J6 was launched at 13,990 for 3GB RAM variant and Rs 16,490 for the 4GB RAM variant.
The two smartphones with model numbers SM-J415F/DS and SM-J610F/DS have been spotted on the company’s official Vietnam website which are said to be the upcoming Samsung Galaxy J4 Prime and Galaxy J6 Prime. Since they have made an appearance at the official website, the smartphones are expected to be launched soon.
Dutch website Galaxy Club reports that both smartphones are expected to run Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box, and be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processors instead of Samsung’s own Exynos. The report further says that both the smartphones will launch in Vietnam and Netherlands this fall. There is no word on the other major specifications and features of both the smartphones.
To recall the specifications of Galaxy J4, it features a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, Exynos 7570 quad-core processor and 3,000mAh battery. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera with LED flash. The phone runs Android 8.0 Oreo with Samsung’s UI on top.
Samsung Galaxy J6 comes with a 5.6-inches HD+ Infinity Display display and powered by Exynos 7870 octa-core processor. It runs Android 8.0 Oreo and has a 3,000mAh battery. Galaxy J6 comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera with f/1.9 aperture. Both the front and rear camera have LED flash.
