Samsung has launched the 16GB version on the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) smartphone in the US, which is named as Samsung Galaxy J3 V. The Galaxy J3 V has retail price $168 (approximately Rs 11,268). The smartphone will also be available in retail stores from June 23 onwards.
The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) and Samsung Galaxy J3 V is quite identical in terms of features and specifications. There are only couple of differences between the smartphones. The difference between them is that Galaxy J3 V has 16GB of internal storage and comes with comes with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, while the Galaxy J3 (2016) has only 8GB of internal storage and comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop.
To recall, the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) was launched in India earlier this year at Rs 8,990.
There are no other differences between these two devices. Like Galaxy J3 (2016), Samsung Galaxy J3 V has a 5 inch HD display with Super AMOLED technology which claims to offer 100 per cent more contrast and 40 per cent more colour than the TFT display. It has a 1.5 GHz quad core Processor and 1.5 GB RAM. It comes with ultra data saving mode as well.
The Galaxy J3 has an 8 Megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera – both comes with f2.2 aperture. This smartphone is just 7.9 mm thin.
Besides, Galaxy J3 has expandable storage up-to 128 GB via micro SD card slot, 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, Micro-USB port and a 2600mAh battery.
