Samsung seems to be working on Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro (2018) and Galaxy J5 Prime (2017) smartphones. The Galaxy J2 Pro smartphone with model number SM-J250F has been spotted on a GeekBench Benchmarking website while the Galaxy J5 Prime (2017) with model number G571 has appeared on GFX Benchmarking website. The listings has revelaed the expected specifications of the upcoming smartphones.
In the GeekBench listing, the Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro (2018) got 656 points in single-core test and in multi-core test it received 1852 points. As per the listing on Geekbench, the Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro (2018) has 2GB RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 1.40 GHz quad-core processor. The handset is based on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system. The phone was also listed on the support website of Samsung South Africa in dual SIM variation. The listing did not revealed with any specification of the phone. However, later it was quickly taken down, but it has confirmed that the phone dual SIM version. From the specs, we expect Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro (2018) could be an entry-level or mid-range smartphone.
As per the listing on GFXBench, Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime (2017) has a 4.8-inch display that has 1280×720 pixels Resolution and five finger gesture support. Besides as per the listing, it has Samsung’s in-house Exynos 7570 1.4 GHz quad-core processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB of internal storage out of which 25GB will be reserved for the users, Mali T720 GPU and Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system. The listing, however, does not mention anything about the battery.
As per the GFX benchmark listing, the Galaxy J5 Prime (2017) has a 12-megapixel Autofocus camera and a LED flash on its rear panel while an 8-megapixel camera is in its front for selfies. The GFX listing shows that the device has connectivity features like Bluetooth, GPS, and WiFi. As per the listing, the device has Accelerometer and gyroscope Sensors as well.
