Alleged image and specifications of Samsung Galaxy J1, called as Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016), have been leaked online by a Twitter user, @sleaknow.
As per the tweet of leakster, the device features a 4.5-inch (480×800 pixel resolution) display which is slightly bigger than the 4.3-inch display of the original Galaxy J1. The new Galaxy J1 is said to be powered by the 1.3 GHz Samsung Exynos 3475 quad core processor and Mali-T720 GPU. It has 1GB RAM and runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS.
The original Samsung Galaxy J1 was launched earlier this year in February in India for Rs 7,190 with a a 4.3 inch touchscreen with 480×800 pixels resolution, 1.2 GHz dual core processor, 512 MB RAM, 4 GB ROM, and a micro SD card slot of 64 GB capacity.
The older Galaxy J1 is based on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and has a 5 megapixel auto focus rear camera with an LED flash. Besides, it has a 2 megapixel front camera, dual SIM and an 1850 mAh Li-Ion battery that claims to offers 10 hours of 3G talktime. The existing Samsung Galaxy J1 model also offers FM radio, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, WiFi Direct, GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS, Proximity sensor, and Accelerometer.
