Samsung, which has already launched 4G enabled Galaxy A7 and Galaxy Grand Max in India, has also announced three more LTE smartphones for India. The handsets – Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime 4G, Galaxy Core Prime 4G, Galaxy J1 4G – are set to be made available in the Indian market from second week of next month from Rs 9,900 onwards.
Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime 4G
The Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime 4G will be available in white and grey colours while Core Prime 4G comes in white, silver, and charcoal grey. It measures 144.8 x 72.1 x 8.6 mm and weighs 156 grams. The Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime 4G has a 5 inch display with qHD resolution. It is equipped with a 5 Megapixel front camera and an 8 megapixel auto focus rear camera.
The Android KitKat based Grand Prime has a 1.2 GHz quad core processor, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage, and a 64 GB micro SD card slot. The Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime 4G features a 2600 mAh battery. Besides, this 4G smartphone has dual SIM, WiFi, WiFi Direct, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS with GLONASS and Beidou.

Samsung Galaxy Core Prime 4G
The Samsung Galaxy Core Prime 4G is 131.3 mm tall, 68.4 mm wide, and 8.8 mm thick. Its 4.5 inch display offers 480×800 pixels resolution. It too has the Android KitKat operating system and a 1.2 GHz quad core processor.
Besides, the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime 4G has 1 GB RAM, 64 GB micro SD card slot, 5 megapixel primary auto focus camera, 2 megapixel front camera, LED flash in the rear panel, and a 2000 mAh battery that promises up to 13 hours of 3G talktime.
The Core Prime has WiFi, WiFi Direct, NFC, Micro USB 2.0 port, 3.5 mm jack, and GPS with GLONASS and Beidou.
Samsung Galaxy J1
The Samsung Galaxy J1 is 129 mm tall, 68.2 mm wide, and 8.9 mm thick. It weighs 122 grams. The Galaxy J1 has a 4.3 inch LCD display with 480×800 pixels resolution. It has a 1.2 GHz quad core processor that runs the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.
The J1 offers 4 GB of in-built storage apart from an expandable storage slot that can handle a micro SD card of up to 128 GB. It has 768 MB RAM too. The Samsung Galaxy J1 has an 1850 mAh battery which should offer decent battery back up and I expect it to have the Ultra Power Saving Mode like other Samsung phones.
Besides, the J1 has a 5 megapixel rear camera with auto focus and there is an LED flash in the rear panel as well. In the front, the phone has a 2 megapixel selfie taker. This dual SIM smartphone is quite rich when it comes to connectivity with dual SIM, 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi Direct, NFC, and A-GPS with GLONASS.
