The Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime (2016), which was found on Geekbench website yesterday, has now been listed on GFXBenchmarking website. Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime (2016) is found with model no SM-G532F on the GFX site.
As per the listing on GFXBench, Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime (2016) has a 5.1-inch display that has qHD (960×540 pixels) Resolution and 5 finger gesture support. Besides as per the listing, it has MediaTek 1.4 GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage out of which 3.4GB is reserved for the users, ARM Mali -T720 GPU and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. In the listing there is no information about its battery or expandable memory.
Further, the Samsung phone has an 8-megapixel Autofocus camera and an LED flash in its rear panel. There is a 5-megapixel camera in its front for selfies. The GFX listing shows that the device has connectivity features like Bluetooth, GPS, and WiFi. As per the listing, the device also has accelerometer, light sensor and Proximity Sensor as well.
It is however to be noted that the listing at Geekbench yesterday showed 1.5GB of RAM whereas GFX listing is carrying 2GB RAM for the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime (2016).
Earlier, Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime (2016) smartphone with same model name SM-G532F was spotted on Indian export, import website Zauba which means that the phone may get launched in India, though Samsung has not said anything about it yet.
To recall, the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime was launched in September 2014 for Rs 15,499 in India. Galaxy Grand Prime comes with a 5 inch display with qHD (540×960 pixels) resolution. It runs on a 1.2 GHz quad core Processor with the help of 1 GB RAM, Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. The phone has 8 GB internal storage and a micro SD card slot for a 64 GB card. For connectivity, the Galaxy Grand Prime has WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and micro USB 2.0. It has a 2,600 mAh battery, two SIM slots offering 3G and 2G connectivity, an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera.
