Samsung is all set to announce the Samsung Galaxy C9 at an event in China on 21st October. The company has released a teaser revealing its launch date. The teaser also shows the rear panel of the smartphone in which a camera unit and an LED flash is visible.
The Samsung Galaxy C9, which was recently spotted on TENAA, was recently spotted on India’s import-export tracking website, Zauba, with a price tag of Rs 17,107. The device was also spotted on Antutu, Geekbench, and GFXBench Benchmarking websites before.
As per the latest TENAA listing, the Galaxy C9 might come with a 6-inch Super AMOLED Display with 1080p resolution and a fingerprint sensor. The images of the Galaxy C9 show that the smartphone uses a new Antenna system with three slim lines at the top and bottom. The TENAA listing has revealed that the Galaxy C9 will be powered by Snapdragon 652 Chipset with 6GB of RAM. It will also come with 4G/LTE, fingerprint sensor and a massive 4000 mAh battery. The phone is 162.9 mm tall, 80.7 mm wide and 6.9 mm thin and it weighs 185 grams, according to the TENAA listing.
As per earlier rumors, Samsung Galaxy C9 will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 2.0 GHz octa-core processor, 6GB RAM, 64GB of internal storage out of which 53GB is reserved for users, Adreno 510 GPU and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. Further, the Samsung phone will come with 16-megapixel Autofocus camera and an LED flash in its rear panel. As per benchmark listings, it has a 16-megapixel front camera.
Samsung is also expected to announce another variant of the Galaxy C9 called Galaxy C9 Pro alongwith Galaxy C9. But sadly as of now, no specifications details of Galaxy C9 Pro are currently available. Samsung has also teased the Galaxy C9 Pro on their social media accounts and are calling it “Next level of antenna craftsmanship”. Samsung also confirmed Rose Gold color option for the device. We have to wait for 21 October for the official aanouncements from Samsung.
