Finally after so many leaks and rumors, Samsung has unveiled its latest smartphone under C series – the Galaxy C5, in China today. Samsung Galaxy C5 comes in Grey, Silver, Pink Gold and Gold colour variants. There are two spec variants – one with 32GB internal storage and other with 64GB internal storage. The 32GB variant is to cost 2199 yuan (approximately Rs 22,509) while its 64GB variant has a price tag of 2399 yuan (approximately Rs 24,556).
The Samsung Galaxy C5 offers a 5.2-inch display with full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 617 (4 x 1.5GHz + 4 x 1.2GHz) processor and Adreno 405 GPU. The phone has a 128GB expandable memory slot. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system and is backed up by a 2,600 mAh battery. The device also features a fingerprint sensor on the home button.
The Samsung Galaxy C5 flaunts a 16-megapixel shooter on the back with dual-tone LED flash, f/1.9 Aperture and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. On the connectivity front, the device offers Hybrid Dual SIM, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and a Micro USB port. The handset measures 145.9 x 72 x 6.7 mm and weighs 143 grams.
