Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro and C7 Pro spotted again

Last month, Galaxy C7 Pro was spotted entering India on the import tracker website Zauba.

According to the latest report coming in from China, Samsung is likely to launch the Galaxy C5 Pro and Galaxy C7 Pro sometime next month, states GSMArena. The report came from famous Chinese website Weibo which also revealed a couple of important information.

Galaxy C5 Pro and Galaxy C7 Pro

Based on the post on Weibo, Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro will come with the model number SM-C5010 and the Galaxy C7 Pro will come with the model number SM-C7010. Further, the C5 Pro will be powered by Snapdragon 625 and the C7 Pro will be powered by Snapdragon 626 chipset.

Last month, Galaxy C7 Pro was spotted entering India on the import tracker website Zauba. Previously both of these smartphones have been rumoured to be in works. Both the devices seem to be successors to Galaxy’s C5 and C7 which were launched in June 2016. However, Samsung failed to launch both the devices in India so we are not so sure if the Pro variants will launch in India or not.

Briefing out specifications C5 and C7, Samsung Galaxy C5 comes with a 5.2-inch display with full (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display. Inside, it is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 617 (4 x 1.5GHz + 4 x 1.2GHz) processor and Adreno 405 GPU. The phone has a 128 expandable memory slot. The smartphone runs on 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system and is backed up by a 2,600 battery. The device also features a fingerprint sensor on the home button.

For photography, C5 flaunts a 16-megapixel shooter on the back with dual-tone LED flash, f/1.9 and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. On the connectivity front, the device offers Hybrid Dual SIM, LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and a port. The handset measures 145.9 x 72 x 6.7 mm and weighs 143g.

Coming to the C7, the device comes with a 5.7-inch display with full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display. It is powered by a 2 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor and Adreno 506 GPU. The phone has 4GB RAM, 128GB expandable memory slot, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system and a 3,300 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. The device also features a fingerprint sensor on the home button.

The Samsung Galaxy C7 flaunts a 16-megapixel shooter on the back with dual-tone LED flash, f/1.9 aperture and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. On the connectivity front, the device offers Hybrid Dual SIM, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and a micro USB port. The handset measures 156.6 x 77.2 x 6.7 mm and weighs 165g.
