Recently, Samsung confirmed that the Samsung’s Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 will be unveiled on 26th May. Now just before their launch, alleged images of Galaxy C5 and C7 have been published on a Chinese website, DigiTech. The images show a pink case and sleek design of the phones. However, the leaked images do not specify whether they are of C5 or the C7.
As per the images, the device(s) features a metal unibody design with antenna bands running at the back. The front panel of the phone has a physical home button which might double up as a fingerprint sensor. Both the front as well as rear panels have Samsung logo. Recently, Samsung Galaxy C5 was also spotted on the website of Chinese certification agency, TENAA.
DigiTech has also revealed the pricing of the Galaxy C7 and Galaxy C5. The latest pricing however, contradict previously leaked pricing of the two handsets. As per the new pricing, the Samsung Galaxy C5 is to cost CNY 2,199 (approximately Rs 22,500) for the 32GB variant and CNY 2,399 (approximately Rs 25,000) for the 64GB variant. The Galaxy C7 is said to come at a price of CNY 2,599 (approximately Rs 27,000) for the 32GB and CNY 2,799 (approximately Rs 29,000) for the 64GB model.
Reportedly, both the Samsung Galaxy C5 and Samsung Galaxy C7 will be powered by Snapdragon 617 64-bit octa-core processor. They will have 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Both are expected to have a 16-megapixel Autofocus camera and an LED flash in its rear panel and 8-megapixel selfie camera. Galaxy C5 is rumoured to have a 2600 mAh battery while a 3300 mAh battery is expected in Galaxy C7.
As per earlier rumors, the Galaxy C5 will cost CNY 1,599 (approximately Rs 16,400) while the Galaxy C7 will be priced at CNY 1,799 (approximately Rs 18,500). The devices are expected to be launched in Silver, Gold, Pink and Gray colours.
