Samsung Galaxy Alpha to launch on August 13: Report

Samsung Galaxy Alpha is spotted with mettalic frames, 4.8-inch display, Exynos 5433 processor, and Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS.

Samsung is reportedly preparing to release the Galaxy Alpha smartphone with metallic frame. German website AllAboutSamsung posted that Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Alpha on August 13. This smartphone is reportedly made using “new materials” and the same would be used in select upcoming smartphones as well.

The Mobile Indian had reported about Samsung working on Galaxy Alpha with metallic frames. Bearing the model number SM-G850, the Galaxy Alpha features 4.8-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixel resolution. Samsung has powered this smartphone with an octa-core Samsung Exynos 5433 Octa mobile paired with 2 RAM. The mobile chipset features Mali-T628 for graphics and certainly gets high scores with benchmark.

By default, the Galaxy Alpha will feature 32 GB on-board storage but will have no memory card slot. Samsung will load the phone with Android 4.4.4 KitKat and its own TouchWiz Essence UI . The smartphone also has a heart rate sensor. At the rear, it has a 12 megapixel camera with flash and in the front would be a 2.1 megapixel camera.

The Galaxy Alpha might bring in the new line up of Galaxy smartphones using the “new materials” as being publicised by Samsung.
