Samsung is quietly introducing a new budget smartphone with Android 4.4 KitKat to compete with the Motorola Moto E. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Ace NXT supports dual-SIM and will offer features similar to Moto E. Mahesh Telecom, Mumbai-based mobile distributor, shared sneak peak of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Ace NXT. The Galaxy Ace NXT will come in 2G only version for Rs 7,399 while the 3G supporting version will cost Rs 8,550.
Samsung is set to compete with Motorola Moto E with new arsenal of smartphones costing very closely. The new Galaxy Ace NXT will feature a 4-inch display with 800×480 pixel resolution. This smartphone is powered by a single-core 1.2 GHz Spreadtrum SC7715 mobile processor, which is coupled with Mali-400MP GPU for graphics and 512 MB RAM.
By default the Galaxy Ace NXT will feature 4 GB on-board storage and there is a memory card slot to add a micro SD card slot. Galaxy Ace NXT has a 3 megapixel fixed focus camera at the back with LED flash. In the front is a WVGA Resolution camera.
Samsung has loaded the phone with Android 4.4.2 KitKat update, with its own TouchWiz Essence UI on top of it. The hardware packed inside the smartphone is not exactly impressive or comparable to Moto E on second thought.
