We now know that Samsung is closing in on the release of the Galaxy A90 5G after its official website confirmed the moniker last week. The upcoming high-end mid-ranger has now been leaked in two separate instances, one revealing the full specifications of the phone while the other showing what the Galaxy A90 5G really looks like.
Starting things off, the Galaxy A90 5G has now popped up through a retail box whose images have been shared by /Leaks. The retail box lists almost all the specifications that are left to be known about the smartphone which features a 6.7-inch (170.3mm) Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity U display. The highlight of the leak is the focus on 5G which has been mentioned on the front and back of the phone’s box.
Samsung hasn’t however mentioned what powers the Galaxy A90 5G, simply mentioning an “Octa-core processor” in the retail box but from previous leaks, it’s quite certain that the device will be powered by a Snapdragon 855 chipset. As for other internals, the A90 5G will equip 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
As for imaging, the Galaxy A90 5G features a triple camera setup at the back by combining 48-megapixel, 5-megapixel and 8-megapixel lenses. While the battery capacity of the device isn’t mentioned, the Galaxy A90 5G will support 25W Fast charging support.
Specifications aside, the Galaxy A90 5G has also been leaked through promotional pictures that have been shared by Twitter tipster Evan Blass. The clips don’t disclose much about the device except for how it looks like. The phone comes with a glass back with prime colour as white but with different hues of blue and pink when light hits on the surface. The finish of the rear panel bears a similar resemblance to the Prism White variant of the Galaxy S10 that launched earlier this year.
