Samsung Galaxy A90 5G announced with Snapdragon 855, triple rear cameras

Samsung Galaxy A90 5G is the first smartphone in the Galaxy A Series to come with Samsung DeX support.

Samsung has launched its new smartphone under A-series – Galaxy A90 5G. The Samsung Galaxy A90 is priced at 899,800 Won (approx. Rs 53,310 approx.) and it will be available from tomorrow in Korea. The phone comes in Black and White colours. As of now, there is no information about its launch in India.

The Samsung Galaxy A90 5G features a 6.7-inch Full Infinity-U Super with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution. Under the hood, the phone is powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 7nm with Adreno 640 GPU. There is an in-display fingerprint scanner as well as face recognition and the phone is fueled by a 4500mAh battery with 25W super-fast charging.

The phone is equipped with triple camera setup with a combination of 48-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, LED flash, 8-megapixel 123° ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 and 5-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture. For selfies and video calling, the phone sports a 32-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture.

Samsung Galaxy A90 5G runs on 9.0 (Pie) with Samsung One UI. For storage, the phone has 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 512GB via micro sd card. The phone measures 164.8 x 76.4 x 8.4 mm and the weight is 206 grams. There are various connectivity features like 5G, Dual VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, 5, GPS + and Type-C.

Galaxy A90 5G is the first smartphone in the Galaxy A Series to come with Samsung DeX support. Samsung DeX is a docking system so that users can easily connect the device to a larger monitor or TV. You can also use the Microsoft Your Phone to mirror your phone display onto your desktop to check notifications, send and receive messages, and browse through recent photos.
