Samsung has reportedly reduced the price of its two Galaxy smartphones in India. The company has slashed the prices of the Galaxy A9 and Galaxy A7 in the country.
A Mumbai-based retailer, Mahesh Telecom, has revealed the new market operating price (MOP) of the said devices. Starting with the Galaxy A9, the smartphone was launched in India at a price tag of Rs 36,990 for the 6GB RAM variant and Rs 39,990 for the 8GB RAM option. Now, after the price cut, the phone will be available at a price tag of Rs 33,990 for the 6GB RAM option, while the 8GB RAM variant is now priced at Rs 36,990. This reflects a price cut of Rs 3,000 on both the variants.

Coming to the Galaxy A7, the smartphone was launched in India at a price tag of Rs 23,990 for the 4GB + 64GB variant, while the 6GB + 128GB model was priced at Rs 28,990. The smartphone will now be available at a reduced price of Rs 18,990 for the 4GB RAM and Rs 22,990 for the 6GB RAM option. This reflects a price cut of Rs 5,000 and Rs 6,000 respectively.
Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display with 1080×2220 pixels resolution. It is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 660 Processor (Quad 2.2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) with Adreno 512 GPU. The phone has 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) has a triple rear camera of 24-megapixel with LED flash, f/1.7 aperture, 8-megapixel with ultra-wide f/2.4 lens for wide-angle photos and 5-megapixel f/2.2 depth sensor. The front facing camera will feature a 24-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 Aperture and LED flash. It features a 6-inch full-HD+ (1080×2220 pixels) Super AMOLED Infinity Display along with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by an Exynos 7885 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz.
