Samsung has launched its latest smartphone Galaxy A9 in China. It was unveiled last month at an event held in China.
Samsung did not release the phone price at that time but now the phone is now available for purchase in China at a price tag of CNY 3,199( approx Rs 32,500) through Samsung China’s official website. As per the listing, the phone is available in three colors – silver, pink and gold.
The Samsung Galaxy A9 features a 6-inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) Super AMOLED Display with 2.5D curved glass and is powered by an Octa Core Snapdragon 652 processor (Quad 1.8 GHz ARM Cortex A72 + Quad 1.2GHz A53 CPUs). Along with that, it has 3GB of RAM and Adreno 510 GPU. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.
Galaxy A9 flaunts an 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, OIS, Æ’/1.9 Aperture and an 8-megapixel front facing camera for selfies and video calling. The smartphone comes with 32GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up-to 128GB via microSD card. The Galaxy A9 is packed with 4000mAh non-removable battery with QuickCharge technology.
On the connectivity front, the smartphone offers Dual SIM (nano+nano), 4G, WiFi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, GPS/AGPS/GLONASS, ANT+ and Micro USB. The Samsung Galaxy A9 also features fingerprint sensor which is embedded in the home button.
