Samsung debuted the new Galaxy A series smartphones yesterday for the global market and today, the Galaxy A54 5G and the Galaxy A34 5G have been launched in India. The new A-series smartphones succeed the Galaxy A53 5G and the Galaxy A33 5G from last year. Read on to know more about the new smartphones.
Samsung Galaxy A54 5G: Price, Specs
The Samsung Galaxy A54 5G is priced at Rs 38,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant and Rs 40,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model in India. Offers include a cashback of Rs 3,000 or Rs 2,500 off on availing Samsung Upgrade. It will be available on EMI options also across retail stores, Samsung.com, and other online platforms starting March 28th. Users pre-booking the device from March 16th to March 27th can get a special offer on Galaxy Buds Live which can be bought for Rs 999.
The Galaxy A54 5G sports a 6.4-inch 120Hz OLED panel with a full-HD+ resolution (1080 x 2400 pixels). It is powered by the new Exynos 1380 chipset paired with 8 GB RAM and up to 256 GB storage which is expandable via a Hybrid slot. The phone draws power from a 5,000mAh battery with 25W Fast charging support.
At the back, it gets a 50-megapixel f/1.18 main shooter, along with a 12-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide snapper and a 5-megapixel macro camera. The front-facing camera includes a 32MP sensor for selfies. The device has an IP67 certification against water and dust.
Then, you get an in-display fingerprint sensor for security and Dolby Atmos support with stereo speakers. Connectivity features include 5G SA / NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C, and NFC. It runs on OneUI 5.1 out of the box.

Samsung Galaxy A34 5G: Price, Specs
The Galaxy A34 5G gets a price tag of Rs 30,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant and Rs 32,999 for the 8GB+256GB model. The launch offers and availability details remain the same as the Galaxy A54 5G.
This Samsung smartphone sports a 6.6-inch Full HD+ sAMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a waterdrop notch, and 1080 X 2400 pixels resolution. Under the hood, there’s the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC paired with Mali-G68 MC4 GPU. There is 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage that is expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card.
Next, the Galaxy A34 5G features triple cameras on the back, consisting of a 48MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, LED flash and OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, and a 5MP Macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. The phone has a 13MP snapper on the front for selfies.
The phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometrics, an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance, stereo speakers, and Dolby Atmos support. The phone runs on the latest Android 13-based OneUI 5.1 custom skin out of the box and is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. Connectivity options remain the same as Galaxy A54 5G.
