Samsung is going to launch Samsung Galaxy M30s in India on September 18th, but before the Galaxy M30s, the company is going to launch its new A-series smartphone in India on September 11th, which most likely to be Samsung Galaxy A50s smartphone announced last month alongside Galaxy A30s. The company might launch Samsung Galaxy A30s smartphone as well on Sep 11th.
Samsung India is teasing the upcoming A-series smartphone on its official Twitter page. Today’s tweet reads “The GalaxyA series has evolved, and it is just 2 days away from its launch. Follow this space to stay updated”.
In other tweets, Company is running a contest named “#GalaxyAContest” wherein Samsung is asking questions related to A-series features and three lucky winners stand a chance to win one Galaxy Fit each. Moreover, everyTwitter post related to the contest has a teaser image (gif) where Galaxy A50s is clearly written on it. So, it is expected that the company will launch the Galaxy A50s on the said date.
Jumping straight to specifications, Samsung Galaxy A50s smartphone has a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED (2340 x 1080 pixels) display and come armed with an octa-core (Quad 2.3GHz + Quad 1.7GHz) Exynos 9610 10nm processor with Mali-G72 GPU. The Galaxy A50s is powered by a 4000mAh battery with 15W Fast charging support and runs on Android 9.0 Pie OS out-of-the-box. The phone comes in two different variants- the 4GB of RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB of RAM with 128GB storage, with an option to expand the storage of up to 512GB via micro SD card.
The Galaxy A50s carries a triple rear camera module with 48-megapixel as a primary sensor with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, a 5-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture. Further, the device houses a 32-megapixel shooter with an f/2.0 aperture. The phone also has an in-display fingerprint scanner. On the connectivity front, the phone has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C, 3.5mm Audio Jack and FM Radio. The device measures 158.5 x 74.5 x 7.7mm and weighs 169 grams.
