After getting the price cut in August, the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), A7 (2017) smartphones prices have been slashed again by up to Rs 5,000. Now, as per Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom, after the price cut, the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) is retailing at Rs 17,990 while Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) is priced at Re 20,990.
Samsung launched the Galaxy A5 (2017) and A7 (2017) earlier this year for Rs 28,990 and Rs 33,490 respectively. These phones were retailing at a MOP of Rs 26,900 and Rs 30,900 respectively. After the earlier price cut, the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) was priced at Rs 22,900 while Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) was priced at Rs 25,900.

The major highlight of both the devices is their glass built which is curved at the back as well. Apart from this, both the smartphones come with IP68 certification which means they can be submerged in 1.5-meter deep water for up to 30 minutes.
Samsung has already rolled out the Nougat 7.0 update for its Galaxy A5 (2017) and A7 (2017) smartphones in India.
