Samsung has launchedGalaxy A20e and Galaxy A40 smartphones along withGalaxy A80 and Galaxy A70 smartphonesthat were unveiled at an event yesterday. Galaxy A40 is now available for purchase for around €250 which is approx. Rs 19,503, but the price and availability of Galaxy A20e has not been announced yet.
The Samsung Galaxy A20e features a 5.8-inch HD+ LCD Infinity V display with 720 x 1,560 pixels resolution. The smartphone comes with a waterdrop-style notch which Samsung calls Infinity V display. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 7884 octa-core processor. It has 3GB RAM and 32GB storage that is expandable up to 512GB via microSD card. It also features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Samsung Galaxy A20e will be available in Black and White colours.
In the imaging department, the Galaxy A20e is equipped with dual rear cameras consisting of a 13MP primary sensor with f/1.9 Aperture and a 5MP secondary wide-angle lens. For the front, there is an 8MP camera for selfies and video chats. The handset packs a 3,000mAh battery with 15W fast-charging support. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a 3.5mm Audio Jack and a Micro USB port.
The Samsung Galaxy A40 features a larger 5.9-inch Super AMOLED Display with full HD+ (2340×1080) resolution. It is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core Exynos 7885 processor. This is clubbed with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card.
The phone has a dual rear camera setup with a combination of a 16MP primary camera with f/1.7 and a 5MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera. It has For the front, the phone has a 25MP camera for selfies and video chats. The Galaxy A40 runs on Android Pie with One UI on top. It houses a 3,100 mAh battery with Fast charging 15W. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack and a Type C port.
