Samsung has already confirmed that it will be launching the 2017 lineup of its Galaxy A series on January 5th. And now, the pricing and user manual of Galaxy A series has been leaked online ahead of official launch. It is expected that the South Korean giant will be launching three models including the Galaxy A (2017), Galaxy A5 (2017) and Galaxy A3 (2017) at an event held in Malaysia.
If a recent report by Soyacincau is to be believed then the new Galaxy A7 (2017) and Galaxy A7 (2017) will be priced at RM1,699 (Rs 25,738 approx.) and RM1,899 (Rs 28768 approx.) respectively. According to the website, a tipster has sent the above image which appears to be a pre-order ad for the new Galaxy A (2017) series. Samsung will also be offering a Level U Pro wireless headphones worth RM399 (Rs 6,044 approx) for those who pre-order the devices from January 6th to January 15th. However, the report did not mention about the smaller Galaxy A3 (2017) pricing, but we can expect to cost around $300 (Rs 20,387 approx.).
Apart from this, the user manual for all three A (2017) devices is already available on Samsung Russia’s website revealing some important information about the upcoming smartphones. According to the user manual, all the three smartphones will come with IP68 certification meaning that all are dust and water resistant. Further, this means that they can survive underwater up to 1.5 metres for 30 minutes. Other than this, all three models will have NFC, Samsung Pay and fingerprint Sensors embedded in home buttons.
Although, the company has not spilled some beans of the specifications of the devices, but If we go by previous rumours, then the Galaxy A3 is said to sport a 4.7-inch HD (1280x720p) IPS display, a 1.59GHz Octa-Core Samsung’s Exynos 7870 processor, ARM Mali-T830 GPU, 2GB RAM, and 8GB of internal storage. On the camera front, the device is believed to offer a 12-megapixel Autofocus rear camera that comes with face-detection and LED flashlight, whereas at the front, it will have an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calling. Lastly, the smartphone is expected to be powered by a 2550mAh battery and will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Galaxy A5 (2017), on the other hand, is touted to sport a 5.2-inch Full HD display and will be powered by a 1.87 GHz Octa-Core Exynos 7880 processor. The smartphone could be backed by a 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. There would be a 13-megapixel primary camera, and a 3000 mAh battery.
Coming to the A7 (2017), the device is expected to come with a 5.7 inch Super-AMOLED Full HD display. On the hardware front, it is likely to be powered by a Samsung’s Exynos 7880 Octa-Core Chipset with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage which will be expandable via microSD card. Moreover, the 2017 Galaxy A7 is said to boasts a 16-megapixel front camera with f/1.9 Aperture coupled with a 16-megapixel rear facing camera. It is likely to come with USB Type-C port, a 3600 mAh battery and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.
