Samsung has announced an upgrade to its Chromebook Plus laptop. Dubbed as Chromebook Plus V2, the device comes with a price tag of $499.99 (approx Rs 33,975) and it will be available starting from June 24 at Best Buy online and offline stores.
The new Chromebook comes loaded with a built-in pen and offers a light and thin design language. The laptop features a 12.2-inch Full HD touch-screen display with a screen resolution 1920 x 1080 pixels and 300 nits of brightness. The notebook can be utilised as a tablet or asketchbook. The device is powered by an Intel Celeron 3965Y Processor along with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
Since it is a Chromebook, it runs on Chrome OS, which comes loaded with lots of apps and access to Google Play Store. The memory can be further expanded up to 400GB via micro SD card slot. On the camera front, it features 13-megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 Aperture and a 1-megapixel front-facing camera.
The device comes with comes with a 39Wh battery and the built-in pen comes with for the precision of the stylus. On the connectivity front, it features 2 USB Type-C ports, 1 USB 3.0 port, one microSD card reader and 3.5mm audio jack. The laptop measures 11.34 x 8.19 x 0.63-7.0 inches and weighs 1.32 kgs.
