As reported earlier Samsung has announced a 10.1 inch version of its Galaxy Tab 3 tablet with Intel Atom processor. Samsung has also announced an 8 inch version of the tablet.
Earlier in April, Samsung had announced a 7 inch version of the tablet. The good news is that all the three versions of the tablet will be available across the globe from this month only.
Both the 8-inch and 10.1-inch versions of Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 run on Android 4.2 operating system. While the 10.1 inch version runs on Intel Atom Z2560 dual-core Clover Trail+ processor, the 8 inch version has a 1.5 GHz dual core processor (manufacturer’s name not revealed). It is the first time that Samsung is using Intel processor in its Android tablets.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 (8 inch) comes with a 5 megapixel rear camera, 1.3 megapixel front camera, 1.5 GB RAM and 16/32GB of internal storage.
On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has 3 megapixel rear camera, 1.3 megapixel front camera, 1 GB RAM and 16/32GB of internal storage. The tablet is also equipped with Smart Remote and MHL (TV Out) capabilities.
Meanwhile 7 inch Galaxy tab 3 features 7-inch display with poor 1024×600 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Both WiFi and Wifi+3G version will be available.
Samsung has not announced the pricing of these tablets as of now, but has promised budget pricing for the 7 inch version.
