Samsung 2019 QLED 8K TVs announced with AI Quantum processors

The Samsung 2019 QLED 8K televisions come in four sizes - 65-inch, 75-inch, 82-inch and 98-inch, all of which support resolutions of 8K. The displays offer four times more pixels than 4K standard displays and new Quantum Processor 8K processors with AI technology.

A days after launching the Unbox Magic Smart TVs for a starting price of Rs 24,900 in India, Samsung has officially taken the wrappers off its new 2019 line of QLED 8K TVs in Vietnam. The new TVs come with the new Quantum processors, 8K screen and true-to-life photo experience for a starting price of VND 119 million (approx. Rs 3,55,200).

The Samsung 2019 QLED 8K televisions come in four sizes – 65-inch, 75-inch, 82-inch and 98-inch, all of which support resolutions of 8K. The displays offer four times more pixels than standard displays and new Quantum 8K processors with AI technology. The Quantum Processor processor uses AI technology to enable users the ability to re-create and upgrade the image content to 8K standard.

The QLED 8K TV is equipped with exclusive AI Upscaling technology to upgrade any content format up to 8K equivalent quality. There’s an inbuilt Bixby Virtual Assistant available on all the models which allow users to access their desired content via speech on Samsung’s “Universal Guide” hint function.

Speaking about the launch, Samsung Electronics Director, Suh Kyung Wook said “2019 is an important milestone because it not only marks the 50th anniversary of Samsung Electronics’s establishment but also the 13th year Samsung leads. Top TV market worldwide. To achieve that achievement, Samsung constantly challenges itself to offer products with the latest and most advanced technology. Therefore, the generation of QLED 8K 2019 TV will also bring breakthroughs to help improve the user experience to a whole new level”.

The new Samsung 2019 QLED 8K TVs will be available in 65-inch, 75-inch, 82-inch and 98-inch screen sizes for asking prices of VND 119 million (approx. Rs 3,55,200), VND 199 million (approx. Rs 5,93,200), VND 299 million (approx. Rs 8,91,350) and VND 2.3 billion (approx. Rs 68,57,505).
