However, just like Micromax Canvas II upgrade, you will have to visit Salora service center to get the upgrade.

Salora, has upgraded its recently launched flagship smartphone PowerMaxx Z1 to 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. The update makes this really attractive phone with a massive 3100 mAH battery even better and since the time of launch, even the price has come down to a more attractive Rs 9,999. You can read the review of the phone here.

Salora, launched its first Android phone with Dual PowerMaxx Z1 in January this year.

The phone is slim inspite of massive battery, thanks to 4.5 inch qHD IPS display made with zero gap technology which means better readability in sun, wider viewing angles and slimmer phone.

You also get noise cancellation for better call quality and on top of that it gets very decent hardware with a Cortex-A9 1GHz Dual Core Processor. The smartphone is made of forging aluminium alloy with a special fiber drawing technology.

The phone gets 4GB and 512RAM (1GB would have made the phone all the more desirable) and external memory is expandable up to 32GB.

The smartphone gets 1.3 front facing camera and 8.0 mega pixel auto focus rear facing camera. The camera also supports features such as optical image stabilization, panorama view, multi shot and time lapse video, facial beautify, smile shutter and automatic ambient light detection etc.
