Salora, an Indian consumer electronics player, has forayed into the mobile handset market with the launch of its SM401.
SM401 is an entry level phone with multimedia features like K series amplifier, big speakers and 3.5 mm jack. Besides, it can play MP4, 3GP video files as well. The dual SIM phone comes in soothing colors of light green and blue with a 2.2 TFT display.
It has a 1.3 Megapixel camera with flash and zoom facility as well, which can also be used to record videos. The camera can be used as a webcam and a Modem of a PC as well.
Priced at Rs 2,499, the phone also offers Internet access (WAP / GPRS / MMS enabled), Bluetooth, expandable memory up to 16GB, answering machine, dual charging port, FM radio with recording facility, and torch.
