Rio Mobile, a smartphone manufacturer promoted by TriStar Products, an Indian beauty accessory company, today launched affordable smartphones in partnership with Snapdeal. The smartphones inspired by and named after three globally renowned cities – New York, Paris and London – come at a price range of Rs 3,399 to Rs 4,999.
Announcing the launch of smartphones on Snapdeal.com, Adnan Kidwai, co-founder and director, Rio Mobile, said, “The aesthetically designed smartphones – Rio New York R501, Rio Paris R301 and Rio London R201 are characterized by style and simplicity, combining functionality with high performance. All the three smartphones launched on Snapdeal run on Google’s Android Kitkat operating system and come with 1.3 GHz quad core processor, 512MB RAM, and 4GB ROM. The R501 has a 5 inch IPS display with FWVGA resolution, 8 megapixel auto focus rear camera, 2 megapixel front camera, and a 2000 mAh battery. It has a price tag of Rs 4,999.
The Rio Paris R301 has 4.5 inch IPS FWVGA display, 5 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front camera, and a 1700 mAh battery and it costs Rs 4,399. The Rio London offers 4 inch display, 1500 mAh battery, 5 megapixel rear camera, and a 2 megapixel front camera.
